My work is much varied and you never know from one day to the next what it is you are going to be making, amongst the many restoration projects I have done recently, have been replacing the working parts and timbers from the back of a horse drawn slurry cart.   This had been stored in a shed for over 70 years and was in very good conditon, apart from the wood that had been touching the earth floor, which had to be replaced.   The wheels are away at a specialist wheelwright as the earth floor had taken its toll on these too.  When they are returned the cart will be painted and shown at Agricultural shows around the country through out the summer.  It is believed to be the only original surviving, horse drawn slurry cart in the country.
